Remembering that India imported most of mobile phones and delivered just Rs 1,500 crore worth of mobiles to overseas, he said, “we became the 2nd biggest producer of cellphones in the world with 30 crore of cellphones being produced in India.”
“We are the sixth country worldwide to create our own 4G telecom pile and we would have turned out 1 lakh towers by mid next year and by mid 2025, we would certainly have made sure 4G saturation across India,” he stated.
