Airtel to move to 5G SA mode in 3-4 years
Once this happens, Airtel will become the second pan-India 5G carrier after Reliance Jio to deliver the next-gen consumer mobile service nationally via the SA mode, which is reckoned to offer a superior 5G voice and data experience compared to the current NSA (non-standalone) variant that uses existing 4G network infrastructure and airwave resources.
