The government of India is setting up telecommunication equipment manufacturing zones in the country, as the sector is expected to go through a revolution in attracting foreign direct investments, Union Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia said on Friday.
For this, Airtel has built a centralised database of blacklisted URLs and every SMS is scanned in real time by an AI algorithm to caution users from accidently clicking on suspicious links.
The Network Language Model (NLM) empowers operations teams to make faster, data-driven decisions by correlating alerts with AI-driven insights from sources like email notifications and maintenance logs.
Both BIF and SIA India believe such a move will ring in regulatory clarity and create a more conducive environment for attracting top dollars from the biggest global satellite constellation operators such as Eutelsat OneWeb, Elon Musk’s Starlink, Amazon-Kuiper, SES and Telesat.
Further, the learnings and insights obtained by the vendors in the Indian market over the last two years, will enable the company to embark on a more flexible and modular rollout plan by customising the services for all advanced technologies (4G & 5G), it added.
"This subculture provided a visual language that resonated with their target users, and the game allowed players to nurture their wellbeing through virtual houseplant care."
Talking about the 4G coverage of uncovered villages in the country, the Minister said a total of 7,101 4G mobile towers have been commissioned by telcos, including Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and BSNL under various Digital Bharat Nidhi funded 4G schemes including 4G saturation scheme.
The telecom companies had then moved the issue to the top court claiming there were several errors in arriving at the AGR dues which totalled over Rs 1 lakh crore.

New Delhi: Another big fight is brewing, with telecom and internet service providers (ISP) on one side and tech companies on the other, over the government’s Wi-Fi hotspot initiative under the PM-Wani framework.
In case, the infrastructure company fails to reach an agreement with the property owner, the former "may apply to the District Collector or designated officer through the portal to determine whether such installation or right of way is necessary for public interest," the notification said.
The insights from the report indicate that private 5G networks will play a critical role in various applications, including the remote control of assets where it ensures low-latency and high-reliability communication.
